Usage Billing Terms

Version 1.0. By accepting a billing plan on Arctex, you agree to the usage-based charges described below in addition to any flat subscription fee. Last updated 2026-10-07.

What is metered

Your account is billed for the actual backend resources your business consumes to operate on Arctex — never for Arctex’s own usage, and never for another business’s. Specifically:

Hosting. Your website runs on its own dedicated hosting infrastructure. Its actual hosting cost for a billing period is pulled directly from that infrastructure’s own billing records and charged to your account as reported.

AI features. If you use any AI-agent feature, usage is metered by the actual volume processed on your account’s own requests.

Shared platform resources. Your account also runs on shared database and application infrastructure that has no per-account invoice of its own to pass through. For this category only, we bill against a metric we define and publish — such as your account’s data volume and request counts — rather than a resale of a third-party bill. We will always show you the calculation behind this figure on request.

How you’re invoiced

Usage across every metered category is combined into a single invoice per billing period, itemized so each category’s quantity and charge is shown separately. If your business operates more than one location under one account, usage from every location is combined onto that one account’s invoice — it is never split across separate bills for the same business. Every invoice and its itemized lines are available to you at any time from your dashboard’s Billing settings.

Changes to rates or metrics

What’s metered, and the rate charged for it, can change. If it does, you will be notified in advance of the date the change takes effect, and the current terms remain in force until then — a change is never applied retroactively or without notice.

No cross-contamination

Every metered fact is recorded against your specific account at the moment it happens, or pulled from a resource dedicated to your account. You are never charged for Arctex’s own internal usage or for another business’s usage on the platform.
